Grab Visitor Contact Information with Lead Capture Pages

Businesses that rely on gaining and converting leads into sales or affiliate distributors must have a plan in place for collecting information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Lead capture pages are a great way to do this because they are often the first things website visitors will see.

What Capture Pages Do for Businesses
When a consumer makes the decision to visit a website, they are doing so either to learn about the products and services found on that website or to find out more about distributorship opportunities with a company. By letting visitor information go by unnoticed and unrecorded, business owners are letting precious leads slip right through their fingers. Lead capture pages require website visitors to submit their names and email addresses, or sometimes other information as well, before they can continue to the rest of the website. Each time information is submitted, the software system collects and stores the information for the website owner’s future use.

Welcome Letters and Newsletters
The purpose behind collecting information from website visitors is to attempt in converting them into either sales or distributors. As such, it is important to start off communications correctly with a friendly but to-the-point welcome letter. This letter will be sent to the email address the consumer provided, and for the best results, it should also be personalized with the consumer’s first and last name—or perhaps only the first name if this is all that the lead capture pages required. This welcome letter is the first step in building a relationship with leads, and it will hopefully serve as the gateway for getting sales and distributorships.

Telephone Information
In some cases, website owners may ask visitors to provide a telephone number for marketing and communication purposes. Often times, this can also be very effective. While it is unrealistic for a single distributor to contact everyone who takes the time to fill out the lead capture pages, there are some great features that can help bridge this gap. Pre-recorded messages about the products and opportunities being offered can be real lifesavers; they allow consumers to get the information they need without any work on behalf of the distributor. However, it is important to provide contact information at the end of the recording so that the consumer can request more information.

Keeping in Contact
Most of the time, leads will need to hear about products or opportunities between seven and 10 times before they can make an informed decision. Lead capture pages will allow distributors to continue following up with these leads until they have been converted or they have opted out of the newsletter. Savvy business owners know that if they have not received any responses after several newsletters, it may be worth the time to personally contact that lead to try and generate interest. Without the capture pages, there would be no leads; without the leads, there would be no business.

Lead capture pages are completely necessary for any MLM or MLM-type business owner who is truly looking to succeed. They help to ensure constant communications with potential sales and affiliate distributors by the masses.
